Iona University Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic

The Iona University Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic is a full-service speech and hearing teaching clinic specializing in patient-centered care. It takes a holistic approach and offers services for child language delays, communicative disorders resulting from brain injury or stroke, articulation, and many other communication issues. Their highly qualified team of professionals include New York State Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists along with clinical practicum students to provide individualized services to help clients maximize their potential.
LaPenta School of Business Atrium

Formerly known as Hagan Hall, the LaPenta School of Business opened its new state-of-the-art, 68,000 square-foot building in January 2020. Home to the LaPenta-Lynch Trading Floor, the LaPenta School of Business hosts both undergraduate and graduate programs within the high-tech, glass-enclosed building. Located on the top floor of Spellman Hall, the Hynes Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation is a newly designed 3,800 square-foot co-working space, which opened in 2019. The Hynes Institute is sure to get your creative and innovative juices flowing! With a free-flow workspace and 3D printer, the Hynes Institute offers space for students to learn and grow as they develop their entrepreneurial spirit.

Located on the lower level of Cornelia Hall, the Research Lab is just one of the labs used by students taking science courses. With state-of-the-art equipment, the labs provide valuable hands-on research experience, right on campus!
LaPenta-Lynch Trading Floor

Located on the second floor of the LaPenta School of Business, the LaPenta-Lynch Trading Floor is where you hone your business skills. With floor-to-ceiling windows, 16 Bloomberg Terminals, and a live, wrap-around stock ticker that can be seen throughout the building and even across campus, the trading floor brings Wall Street to New Rochelle!
Ryan Library

The Ryan Library holds over 250,000 volumes and multimedia resources, as well as 500 current print periodicals. The help desk at the Library is Iona’s own information technology station for all technology needs and questions. Librarians are also on staff during library hours to help students with research needs.

The Murphy Center

Occupational Therapy Lab

The Occupational Therapy Lab, located in the Murphy Center, allows students studying Occupational Therapy the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while on Iona’s campus. The lab is set up to create environments where students can hone their skills before working with actual patients. The Occupational therapy program is part of the NewYork-Presbyterian Iona School of Health Sciences and is an ACOTE accredited program.
Joann Mazzella Murphy '98H Arts Center

The Joann Mazzella Murphy '98H Arts Center houses the Brother Kenneth Chapman Gallery along with studios and classrooms for art, dance, drawing, painting and music. The main lobby displays works by local artists and students. New works are chosen for the gallery display each semester. The Center is located on North Avenue just south of the campus' main entrance, across from Hales, Loftus and Conese residence halls.

Maternity Simulation

The Kelly Center for Health Sciences offers students hands-on experience to prepare them for the healthcare field upon graduation. Students have access to five simulated hospital rooms, featuring high-tech mannequins that talk, sweat and even give birth.

Iona students can utilize the state-of-the-art simulation labs in the Kelly Center for Health Sciences to learn how to manage complex patient diagnoses and situations, including how to perform certain procedures.

Students looking to learn more about mental health can take advantage of the virtual reality technology in the Kelly Center for Health Sciences. Using virtual reality, students can learn different patient behaviors and how to care for them while instructors provide feedback to helps them ease into learning about the behavior health diagnosis process.

While Rice Hall Hall houses traditional double, triple and quad rooms, it is the only residence hall that offers single rooms as well. Loftus Hall is a freshman housing option, located on North Avenue. The hall features 10 co-ed floors with single-sex suites of five or six students. This residence hall includes lounges, study rooms, a computer lab, kitchen area, meditation room, and laundry room.
Hales Hall/Conese Hall Living Area

Hales and Conese Halls are upperclassmen residential communities located on North Avenue on either side of Loftus Hall. The halls feature apartment-style suites of 7 or 10 students, all equipped with a living room and kitchenette area. This view focuses on the shared living room and kitchenette area for residents of a Hales or Conese Hall suite.

Mazzella Field is located in the center of campus. The field is open to all students when not in use by athletics teams. With seating for 1,300, you’ll want to make sure you get a spot at the men’s and women’s soccer, women’s lacrosse, and men’s rugby home games! Open to the entire student body, when not in use by the men’s and women’s swimming & diving and water polo teams, it’s a great spot to practice your backstroke or just float with friends!
